Move over Formula 1, we've got a new racer in town! Last year Formula E, the global all-electric racing circuit, made history on the streets of Brooklyn. Hundreds of concrete barriers constructed a 1.21-mile track on the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The NYC ePrix offered racing fans their first glimpse into this new sport taking the racing world by storm.
This year, the Formula E team is back at it, hosting its final championship race of the season back in Brooklyn on July 14th and 15th.
Frenchman, Jean-Eric Vergne, leads the Driver's Championship points chase after the Rome ePrix with Sam Bird in striking distance after his win in Rome. With 5 rounds left, we wouldn't be surprised if it came down to the NYC ePrix double header to crown this year's Formula E champion. The next round takes points leader JEV to his home turf in the Paris ePrix.
We're excited to share that RPM Raceway will be partnering with Formula E in a number of ways.

With the new Gen2 Formula E car and new entrants Nissan and BMW debuting next season (Porsche and Mercedes joining FE in season 6), the future development of sustainable mobility looks promising and incredibly exciting.
RPM Raceway is proud to share in the belief and practice of promoting clean energy and sustainability and proud to call Formula E a friend and partner in the global race to electric adoption.
