# [National Go-Kart Day!](https://blog.rpmraceway.com/national-go-kart-day-2)

 Written by [RPM Raceway](https://blog.rpmraceway.com/author/rpm-raceway) | September 11, 2019

September 14, 1956… on this day in history, Elvis Presley put out his first hit song; Dwight D. Eisenhower announced he is running for a second term; and of course, it was the first ever public go-kart appearance! We’ve coined it *Go-Kart Day*. And what better way to commemorate this special time than offering FREE RACES in our all-electric go-karts at ALL SIX RPM Raceway locations (Jersey City, Farmingdale, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Stamford). We’ll be giving out** FREE RACES** to the first 25 racers who come to each location!

Like all good things, this holiday will come and go faster than our high speed go-karts. 🏎💨

So don’t miss out on FREE RACES this Friday September 13th! Be there when the doors open to be one of the lucky 25! See you there!
